AgileTour Sailing 2020

A French group of skippers is launching a new idea since 2019: AgileTour in the Sea. Several cities experimented the idea: La Grand Motte (34), Vannes (56) and Marseille (13). Please, visit the page, Agile Tour Sailing, to discover the new water world tour.

Objectives

The main objectives of the Agile Tour are:

• Massively communicate about Agile
  Our primary mission is to conduct a 'Mass Communication' about our practices throughout the months of October and December. We want to communicate everywhere there is an audience in order to attract more attention to our new professional approaches
• Share our visions of Agile
  Since Agile is constantly evolving, we want to be open to new horizons while also contributing our understanding, interpretation and ideas to the agile community
• Federate
  Encourage leadership in all regions of the world in the agile arena, while being consistent with agile culture and self-organization
• Support
  Assist our colleagues and local businesses in their adoption of Agile

In summary, the mission of the AgileTour is to highlight leadership organizations and create leaders in Agile from all regions of the world, and assist in mass communication the benefits of Agile and its impact to the professionals of the world. Thus, the AgileTour is an effort intended to help emerging non-profit organizations and enterprises who will base their foundation and mission on Agile methodologies.

Call For Candidate Cities and Organizers

For becoming a city of Agile Tour, you need to:

• First, read the following document and verify how appropriate your city is for becoming an AgileTour city:
  "How to become a Candidate City?" (Download the ppt file)
• Propose a Team, a Budget, a Venue - and fill out the following application
  Google speadsheet
• And send the application back to us at board@agiletour.org

Once we've accepted your application to be in the Agile Tour, we'll notify you and we will list your city and contact information on the web site.
